As a Shaman, the one thing I see constantly that I do not understand is the lack of personal integrity . I don’t mean the expectations that society puts on us. I mean the lacking energetic cohesiveness that leads to creating the world we desire. In other words, walking ones talk. Let me relate to the Native American Medicine Wheel. There are four directions on the wheel, each relating to a different element and aspect of creation.
The first of these is east. The element is air, and the aspect of creation is thought. What we think is the foundation of what we will experience in this life. Everything starts with a thought, an idea or perception. So, what we think is the first ray of energy we are putting into our creation.
Then the wheel turns to the south, fire. This is action. What we do. This ray of energy is where thought is acted upon. I have had clients ask me about finding a job, my first question is, “have you actually looked?”. This is one of the weakest areas for most people. We must do, in order to create our world.
In the west is water and our emotions. What we believe. Many confuse this with what we think. They are not the same thing. What we believe is the subconscious. The deep seated governing thought. It is the core of how we see ourselves. The old saying goes, “you’ll believe it when you see it”, the truth is that when you believe it, then you will see it.
In the north is what we say. The element of earth. How we express ourselves is the final aspect of creation. It is the way in which we represent ourselves. If you want to be successful, act successful. Speak successfully. Express yourself as a success.
These four directions, aspect are the rays of energy that when matching equate to vibrational integrity. When we have vibrational integrity, we have the ability to create our world and our experience in the way we want it. It is much like the legs of a table. If you have four all the same, the table stands perfectly, but if you have any of the four not matching, the table wobbles or falls.
What we think…what we do…what we believe….what we say…the four rays of energy that create our world and our experience. How incredibly simple in concept. How incredibly difficult in practice.
The Medicine Wheel doesn’t stop with the four directions. Below us is the Earth Mother, unlimited potential. Above us, Sky Father, the actualization of that potential.
The seventh direction is Within…..the sacred space in which the power truly exists.
